storyboard, animatic and shot list

the storyboard for The Veiled Eye was drawn up by Arthur Harris Moss, the production designer, based on the shot composition proposed by DOP Ethan Robertson and I. For our pitch, we had Arthur draw up shots to use for an animatic which portrays the first meeting between protagonist Sylvan and the Ghost. Producer Arran Lawrence edited the sequence. We felt that this scene was the most atmospheric and visually striking part of the entire narrative, and thus felt it was the most appropriate sequence to create an animatic from. The main goal of the animatic was to visualise my vision for the film, which was quite hard to put into words due to the sheer amount of visual detail and quirks it had. The shot list was designed and written by me.
